Memorial Book Project

As of October 16th, 2022 we had met our goal of selling 800 bundles of shingles for the repair of the church roof. Thank you again to all who contributed to this successful fundraiser.
Having achieved that milestone, The Legacy Fund Committee continues to look for additional ideas to raise the, approximately $77,000.00 remaining (as of October 16th, 2022), to fully pay for the roof project.
Our sisters and brothers at St. Simon and St Jude Parish in Tignish began a “Book of Memorials” to honour and remember family members who had passed in their parish.
A Legacy Fund Committee member met with our friends in Tignish this summer to learn how their program worked. By all accounts it has been very well received in their parish. With their help and support we have been able to initiate our own “Book of Memorials” Project here at St. Paul’s as a fundraiser for the Legacy Fund. You can find our new “Book of Memorials” at the back of the church against the West wall just outside the “Nursery”. The “Book of Memorials” will remain in the church permanently.
The intent of this project is to give parishioners the opportunity to purchase a page, to be displayed in the Book, in honour and memory of a loved one who has passed.
Each page can be customized with your own special background photo or we can provide a tasteful background for you.


Perhaps your loved one had a special quote or a personal item or special place of which you have a photograph. These, along with the loved one’s photo, birthdate, and date of passing, can all be included on your page.
The only real limits on what can be included, is the space within the page itself and the requirement that inclusions must be tasteful and not inconsistent with church doctrine.
